La Globalización y la desarticulación de la clase media.

Como quien sabotea una máquina, aflojando  unas cuantas tuercas de los tornillos que sujetan  la columna vertebral de ésta, para que siga funcionando por cierto tiempo, luego debido a las vibraciones termina por perder los tornillos que la mantiene unida y funcionando  hasta que finalmente se descalabra y deja de funcionar, de la misma forma  la clase media en muchos países se ha ido desarticulando…

Los economistas sostienen que son muchos los factores que inciden  en el marco económico, por lo cual hacer análisis de la misma resulta sumamente complicado y  para realizar dichos estudios se deben de tomar en consideración todas las variables que intervienen, por lo cual  han creado modelos ideales en los cuales se manejan solo unas variables dejando los demás factores constantes y de esa forma se recetan soluciones experimentales principalmente a las llamadas economías en desarrollo, para ver cómo funcionan  y si dan los resultados esperados se aplican  en las  llamadas economía desarrolladas y si no, se experimentan con otras, total los que pagaran la factura de dichos fallos serán siempre las clases más desfavorecidas.

El economista Joseph Stiglitz (Premio Nobel de Economía 2001)  nos habla de este tipo de recetas en sus informes y libros, mas poco se ha dicho de cómo se ha ido desarticulando la clase media en muchos países y sé que mas de alguien se preguntara, ¿El porque la clase media es el blanco esta vez?  y las razones son diversas mas yo diría que principalmente porque es en ella donde se fraguan los cambios sociales que redundan en cambios económicos; no está demás decir que ha tomado varias generaciones para formar dicha clase, ya que se deben de reunir unas serie de condiciones para que surja.  Mas lo que ha llevado todo ese tiempo formar otros lo pretenden en unas cuantas décadas desbaratar, porque sienten amenazado su status quo y  sobre todo su poder económico y social.

Sé que mas de alguien  dirá que  lo expuesto aquí no es más que una falacia  argumentada o la exposición de una teoría de conspiración  poco elaborada, mas para aquel que ve como la capacidad económica de su familia se ha ido deteriorando de forma tan acelerada lo siguiente no le sonara nada extraño: Ahora la mayoría cuenta con un trabajo inestable con el que no se puede contar a futuro ,pues vive con la soga al cuello de perderlo en cualquier momento, el acceso al crédito tiene cada vez mas requisitos casi imposibles de llenar, ve que  para ella/él o sus hijos  la educación es un bien inalcanzable, cada vez tiene que recurrir  a la trampa de la tarjeta de crédito para subsidiar un nivel de vida que ya no puede mantener, tener un techo propio cada vez es más un sueno prohibitivo y en general el temor, la inseguridad, la incertidumbre han pasado a ser “El pan nuestro de cada día”.

Podríamos continuar con una lista interminable, pero esto requeriría de un estudio más profundo, lo cual escapa a los alcances  de este pequeño artículo, pero si diremos que es necesario reaccionar y actuar ante estas realidades antes que sea tarde y al decir reaccionar nos referimos a administrar de forma inteligentes los recursos con los que contamos, el no endeudarnos por cosas superfluas, el luchar por nuestra educación y la de nuestros hijos pues esta hace la diferencia y sobre continuar planteándonos metas propias, no permitir que sea manipulada nuestra opinión atreves de los medios diferentes medios de comunicación.

No olvidemos  que lo que hasta hoy se ha logrado, han sido otros los que han pagado el precio y que el miedo produce parálisis y ahora necesitamos estar en movimiento.

“The globalization and the disarticulation of the middle class”

As one  sabotaging machine, loosening a the bolts that secure the spine, they run for a little while but, over time, due to vibrations, the bolts that held it together loosen, eventually, everything and stops working, in the same way the middle class in many countries has been breaking…

Economists argue that there are many factors that influence the economy, to make that analysis is extremely complicated and to perform such framework study should take into consideration all of the variables involved, ideal models are created that leave some factors constants and consider only some variables , and with this models  they created prescriptions, but  with this prescribing a generalized solution for developing economies, to see how they work and if they give the expected results apply  they to the developed economy and, if the result is not pleasing, others are experimented with, those who pay the tab for these failures will always be the poorer classes.

Economist Joseph Stiglitz, who received a Nobel Prize in economy, tells us of such prescriptions in his reports and books, though  little has been said of how it has been breaking the middle class in many countries. The reasons are diverse but I would say that is mainly because it is there where diverse  social changes start, and in the long term they are beneficial to the economy’s changes is not other say that it has taken generations to form that class, as they must meet a number of conditions that may arise.  Though others so aim to derail this train of prosper in a few decade; because they feel threatened by the status quo in this particular economic and social power. I know that most people will say that what I have said here is nothing more than a detailed fallacy or a well put  conspiracy theory, but for anyone that sees as economic capacity, the state of a families economy has been deteriorating ,but for those who are currently experiencing this ,it would not seem as dreadful as it is in actuality; now most work you find is unstable, rendering you unable to look into the future because you live with a rope around your neck with a small base that can break at anytime. Obtaining credit has become very hard, meeting with requirements for your child’s education is all but impossible, and to compensate more and more people are willingly walking into the trap that credit card have set to subsidize a standard of living that already cannot be kept, shelter itself is becoming more of a an unaffordable  dream, and general fear, insecurity, uncertainty have become “Our daily bread”. While we find it easier to sit and do nothing in reality the right choice is to react and to manage smart resources with which we cannot borrow by superfluous things. We must fight for our education and our children’s because this will make the difference and continue to raise us own goals, help us not to be manipulated into changing our opinion to the media’s will.

Let us not forget that until today has been achieved, have been others that have paid the price and fear produces paralysis and now we need to be in motion.
